Privacy notice
Initial notice · 19 October 2026 · To be reviewed before a full commercial launch.
RandLoom aims to respect readers' privacy. This notice describes the current website setup and areas that will be updated as the service develops.
Information and storage
The website is hosted on Wix. Our public article pages use Wix's visitor-access system and may store a visitor session token in your browser's local storage to load published articles. Wix and its infrastructure providers may process technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as IP addresses, device information and server logs.
Contact form and information you submit
Our optional contact form is hosted by Wix Forms. It asks for your email address and message so the RandLoom site administrators can read and respond to editorial questions, corrections and other correspondence. Wix may store this information within its Forms and Contacts services for the website. We do not use a contact enquiry as a newsletter subscription. Do not send identification numbers, passwords, PINs, card information or other sensitive financial information.
We aim to retain enquiries only for as long as they reasonably support correspondence, corrections and record keeping. You can use the contact page to ask questions about your submitted information or request correction or deletion where applicable. We will update this notice when retention, business contact details and other governance arrangements are finalised.
Advertising and affiliate links
There are currently no active affiliate links or advertising placements on the site. If analytics, advertising technologies or affiliate tracking are introduced, we will update this notice and implement applicable notices and choices.
Your choices
You can control browser storage using your browser settings. Clearing site data may reset the visitor session used to access the article service.
Questions and updates
Use our contact form for privacy enquiries. RandLoom is an early-stage publication; its public operator details, retention policy and South African data-protection compliance need a final legal and operational review before full commercial launch.
